Dear Church family.
God's hands are steadily at work at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church.
If you have not noticed God at work in our congregation then let
me take a few moments of your time and share with you some blessings
God has granted Mulberry Springs. First let me share that we are
now officially debt free from the land purchase. We raised the amount
to pay off this debt in only ten months. Also during this same time
period God has added over 100 new members to our church. Can I get
an Amen on that fact. Beyond paying off the land and adding 100
new members, God has also allowed us the privilege of seeing over
30 people give their life to Christ. There is also the blessing
of our Sunday School growth for this year. Everywhere you look God's
hands are moving and it is such a wonderful blessing to be able
to see His hands at work.
Yet in all this good I am sadden because we had to say good bye
to Bro.
Gaston and Mrs. Kiki Kurtz. They have been such a blessing to our
church and to me personally. Bro. Gaston with Kiki's help has taken
our church to new and higher heights in worship of our Lord and
Savior Jesus Christ.
However, I do know that God will bless them in their pursuit of
His will in Houston. It is just hard to say good bye. Let's all
pray that God will bless them in their new place of ministry and
that He may raise up the new worship leader for Mulberry Springs.
Finally I want to ask for your prayers at this time of the year.
We are headed for the week of Vacation Bible School, where our church
places everything on hold and turns our hearts and emphasis on the
children of our church and community. Please spend some time each
day praying for VBS and for those who are leading, working and attending
this year. And parents do everything you can to get your children
here on June 14-17 at 6:00pm to 9:00pm. By the way we will be serving
supper at 5:30 each night. It will be the highlight of the summer
for our chuldren.
May God bless you and keep you and may Mulberry Springs continually
bless God with our service and praise.
I Love You
Bro. Danny
